Workshop on "Data Management, SA Report writing and Post Self Assessment Improvement Plan" 

Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized a day long workshop titled "Workshop on Data Management, SA Report writing and Post Self Assessment Improvement Plan for Self Assessment Committee of the Departments on the 21st March,2017. Twenty five members of Self Assessment Committee (SAC) of different Departments took part in the training program. There were three segments:  Inauguration, Technical session- 1 and Technical session-2.

The inauguration session  was graced by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Saroj Kanti Singh Hazari as the Chief Guest,  Mr. Soman Chakraborty, Director, IQAC was in the chair. Prof. Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Adhikary, Quality Assurance Specialist of HEQEP, UGC  was present as the Key-note Resource Person. AFM Aktaruzzaman Kaisar, Registrar-in-charge, BGCTUB, Additional Director and other IQAC members  of the university were  also present.

In the technical session, Key-note resource person was Prof. Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Adhikary, Quality Assurance Specialist of HEQEP, UGC  He gave five  an excellent presentations in two sessions. They are : Data Management, Non structured & Guided questions for conducting FGD & KII , Documentation for EPRs , Guideline for SA Report Writing, Guidelines for Post Self Assessment Improvement Plan (PSAIP)

 In the presentations, the presenters highlighted on the significance of the activities of Self Assessment activities of the SAC of the Departments/Faculty and completion of the detailed work as soon as possible with entire attention.He gave so many instructions to the SAC member to perform their activities smoothly maintaining IQAC rules and regulations properly.
